Privacy notice

We are Yobot, an Australian business based in Brisbane and South East Queensland. We build and run AI agents for small businesses. We respect your privacy, and we follow the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is written plainly. It is not legal advice.

What we collect

We keep this small. We collect:

• Your name and email address.
• What you tell us about your business through our forms and our Discovery Agent. That includes your answers and the interview transcript.
• Basic analytics about how the site is used, so we can see what is working.

We do not collect sensitive information, such as health, racial or religious details. Please do not submit it through our forms.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Send you the thing you asked for, such as a plan, the morning brief pack, or a reply.
• Follow up with you about Yobot.
• Understand and improve the site.
• Prepare for a strategy call, if you ask for one.

The Discovery Agent

When you use the Discovery Agent, your answers are sent to an AI model provider so we can generate your plan. We store your email and answers so we can follow up with you afterwards. If you share your website address, the agent fetches that public page during the conversation, and we store the transcript so our team can review the quality of what the agent produces. Before a Discovery report is emailed, Joe reviews the report and transcript and explicitly approves that individual send.

We do not use your data to train AI models. If we ever reuse something as an example, we de-identify it first, so it cannot be traced back to you.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site and send email. That includes our hosting provider, our email provider, and the AI model provider behind the Discovery Agent. Some of these providers may process data outside Australia. We choose providers that take privacy seriously, and we share only what is needed to do the job.

Storage and retention

We keep your details only as long as we need them to follow up with you and run our business. After that, we remove them. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Your choices and rights

You are in control of your information. You can:

• Ask us what we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Unsubscribe from our emails at any time, using the link in the email or by contacting us.

To make any of these requests, just contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics to count visits, understand the Discovery funnel and see which pages help. Yobot uses this information to improve the site, not for advertising or to sell visitor profiles.
